the PINK CUBE Test Your Breast
INITIATIVE
Early detection of breast cancer can save lives. The earlier a tumour is detected, the greater the chances of recovery, and the less burdensome the treatments. That is why Switzerland needs nationwide early detection programmes for breast cancer.
PINK CUBE Test Your Breast is a unique initiative to promote breast cancer prevention in Switzerland. It raises public awareness, imparts knowledge, and promotes early detection.
The heart of our work is the PINK CUBE Road Show, which takes place every year to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

DEVELOPMENT & IMPACT
From pilot project to sustainable initiative
The PINK CUBE breast cancer awareness campaign was launched in 2022 by MSD Merck Sharp & Dohme as a pilot project – under the patronage of the patient organisation EUROPA DONNA Switzerland, with the aim of raising public awareness of breast cancer and the important role of early detection – in a straightforward, open and approachable manner.
The implementation was so successful that the project was continued on a larger scale in 2023.
To ensure further growth and sustainable impact in breast cancer prevention and early detection, the project was organisationally re-established in 2024 and transferred to an external partner.
Today, PINK CUBE Test Your Breast is a unique multi-stakeholder initiative that unites patient organisations, science, politics, and business, working together to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
